Irish Red Ale®

Our Kentucky® Irish Red Ale was the first beer created by Lexington Brewing & Distilling Co. when the Lyons Family revitalized the brand in 1999. It is a marriage of two classic styles, Irish Red Ale and English Pale Ale, with a light amber color and a rich, smooth body derived from select imported malts and a touch of wheat malt. This original ale later became the foundation for our iconic Kentucky® Bourbon Barrel Ale after resting in fresh bourbon barrels.

Available exclusively at our Visitor Center in Kentucky.
