Bourbonola’s history dates back more than 100 years to the original Lexington Brewing Co. During Prohibition, the brewery was forced to pivot from producing alcoholic beverages to crafting non-alcoholic drinks to keep food on the tables for families working at the brewery.

In 2022, the modern-day Lexington Brewing & Distilling Co. revived the Bourbonola brand — this time living up to its namesake by blending nearly three shots of Kentucky Straight Bourbon per can with a scratch-made prohibition-style cola crafted from ingredients including cherry, vanilla, cinnamon, ginger, cocoa, and kola nut.

At 12% ABV and ready-to-drink, Bourbonola stays true to its original tagline: “A Very Refreshing Drink.”
