KENTUCKY BOURBON BARREL ALE SALTED CARAMEL SAUCE

Ingredients:

  • 1 bottle Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale
  • 10 oz butter (cubed)
  • 3 C brown sugar
  • 1 tbl vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp kosher salt

Preparation:

  • Pour beer into a medium sized pot and bring to a simmer for 5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients, stir until fully combined and simmer for an additional 5-8 minutes or until the sauce coats the back of a spoon well. Remove from heat, transfer to a vessel to cool down to room temperature for service. Cover and refrigerate after use.

SPICY IMPERIAL STOUT BRATS

Ingredients:

  • 1 bottle Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Imperial Milk Stout
  • ½ C brown sugar
  • ¼ C worcestershire sauce
  • 1 t spicy mustard
  • 1 t garlic powder
  • 1 t onion powder
  • 1 t black pepper
  • 2 sliced red chiles

Preparation:

  • Mix all ingredients well and soak uncooked brats in the mixture for 30-45 minutes refrigerated. Add entire mixture to a cast iron pan direct on the grill and cook for 10-15 minutes. Remove brats from pan and finish on grill. Retain sauce for garnish if desired.

TART CHERRY WHEAT BBQ SAUCE

Ingredients:

  • 1 bottle Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Tart Cherry Wheat
  • ¼ C Town Branch Kentucky Straight Bourbon
  • 1 ½ C ketchup
  • 1 ¼ C tomato sauce
  • ½ C tomato paste
  • ¾ C apple cider vinegar
  • ½ C brown sugar (light)
  • ¼ C molasses
  • ¼ C worcestershire sauce
  • 1/8 C honey
  • 2 t liquid smoke
  • 2 t smoked paprika
  • 1 t dry mustard powder
  • 1 t garlic powder
  • 1 t onion powder
  • 1 t salt
  • 1 t black pepper
  • ½ t cayenne

Preparation:

  • Mix all ingredients in a sauce pot, bring to a simmer, and allow to simmer for 15 minutes to combine all flavors. Adjust seasoning to desired taste or consistency.

VANILLA GOLD BBQ SAUCE W/ CHICKEN

  • ¾ C yellow mustard
  • ½ C honey
  • ½ C brown sugar
  • ½ C apple cider vinegar
  • 2 t ketchup
  • 1 t garlic powder
  • ½ t salt
  • ½ t paprika

Preparation:

  • Mix all ingredients in a sauce pot, bring to a simmer, and allow to simmer for 15 minutes to combine all flavors. Adjust seasoning to desired taste or consistency. Excellent over seasoned / grilled chicken.
