- Memo: Today marks the official creation of the Town Branch Single Barrel Infinity Barrel Project. We selected a freshly decanted bourbon barrel from a selection our visitor center made to play host for this project. Over 400 unique barrel remnants from both bourbon & rye single barrel selections from around the world were entered to the barrel and it is approximately 90% filled. The profile is similar to a cast strength high-rye bourbon which makes sense as nearly 10% of the single barrel remnants were rye and our bourbon mash bill also contains a high-rye mix of 15% rye. The first couple of bottles were pulled for library samples and will b proofed by next week. Our plan is to pull 1x750ml per month to log in our whiskey library archives. [DB]
